After setting up a free account, I logged-in and was presented with a page listing the features available for free accounts: inviting another team member (remember you’re allowed only two team members including yourself for a free account), setting up the first of five pages for the account, and setting up reminders (email or text message reminders that can be set up through your account to remind you of important dates, meetings, etc.). The (potentially) future eBook reader for comics: XO-2?

Here’s a teaser from the article over on Laptop Magazine website:

“Negroponte didn’t share many details about the XO-2’s hardware, but the new system has two touch-sensitive displays. As you can see from the video and the pictures, the XO-2 will be much smaller than the original machine (half the size, according to the press release) and will have a foldable e-book form factor. “The next generation laptop should be a book,” Negroponte said.” Continue Reading »

Big Idea: eBooks on Creating Comics

Here’s an idea I had this morning: would people be interested in buying an eBook from, let’s say, Paul Pope on how he creates an issue of THB? Or from Warren Ellis on the creative process he and John Cassaday had in putting PLANETARY together? Just an idea.
